This beer is a "classic" American pale ale:
very clean and balanced, with generous
additions of cascade hops from the Northwest.
Unlike our other ales, the Purgatory is
"dry hopped" two days after the initial brew
to obtain a crisp yet floral flavor and aroma.
This tends to make each additional
pint an excitingly different
and flavorful experience.
